PhotCalc Single View Laser

PhotoCalc Single View Laser is a brand-new 3D measurement system that uses single camera and laser. No special device is necessary. Commonly available digital camera equipped with laser allows various 3D measurements. This system is being exhibited in SIGGRAPH Asia, held in Hong Kong from December 13 through 15.

Simply take a picture just like shooting a normal photo. In the picture, click on the laser line or point and you can get distance measurement or 3D positional information with no complicating operation.

Point could output: sculpture profile

With reference plate taken together with object in sequential or video shooting, 3D modeling is possible.
